The cave of Big Ben was a high place of climbing in the 90s. There are all types of climbing in a rather small space. From the slab to the colonnette slope, passing through the roof of the cave, Spiderman way. This place really has something magical and will offer you a breathtaking view of Monaco. Plan for good shoes for the approach, and at least 3 hours to complete this step. Ideally plan a day to take full advantage of the place and the climbing possibilities that it can offer you.

Step 4: Vallon of Magnan

The valley of Magnan, or valley of Vallières is part of a large ecosystem called "dark valleys" . It is a system of canyons and ravines dug in a particular rock (pudding). In these places, the contrast with the outside is striking because it is dark, wet and cool all year round. These special conditions allow montane and subtropical vegetation to develop close to the Mediterranean Sea.
It is forbidden to go in the dark valley during rainy episodes and during a safety period of 4 to 5 days after these events, during windy days and when a vigilance orange or red storms and / or rain flood and / or snow ice is emitted by Météo France. Météo France's vigilance map can be consulted on the http://www.vigilance.meteofrance.com .
Risks in the valley:
discharges of water from the Vésubie canal, falling rocks or trees and surge of the watercourse. Helmet mandatory.

Step 5: The Isoletta

This relatively secret place because it's difficult to access, is certainly one of the most beautiful places of the department. Use the GPS point named "Sea access" to go down. Surveillance cameras may discourage you, but access is allowed. Once out of the tunnel, turn left, and be careful. Take this path only by calm sea. There are no other public accesses and the sea is dangerous when it is rough. You can cross some naturists on this section of road. The small beach in front of this small island is very quiet and swimming is very pleasant. However this island called "Isoletta" is private, and access is prohibited. But coastal law requires, the West side remains accessible to walkers. That's where I've hide the QR code. Be careful, you can use the pontoon to access the island, but it is absolutely forbidden and not necessary to enter the private area of the island.
